Pekan Wreck Removal

Project Overview

The project was carried out during the COVID-19 Movement Control Order (MCO), under strict restrictions and difficult working conditions. Our professional divers carried out underwater cutting to dismantle the wreck section by section beneath the surface. The vessel was carefully cut into small pieces underwater to ensure safe handling and controlled recovery. Each piece was recovered, cleaned, and transported for recycling—with strict attention to safety and environmental control. Through precise cutting, careful lifting, and strong teamwork, a total of 1,200 metric tons of steel was successfully salvaged. This Pekan Wreck Removal Project, completed under difficult MCO conditions, demonstrated expertise, resilience, and commitment to safe marine recovery.
